3 charged with DWI on Grand Island, reservation

Erie County Sheriff's deputies arrested three people in three separate incidents involving driving while intoxicated early this morning, officials reported.

The first incident took place shortly after midnight when deputies were sent to investigate a report of a single-car crash on Snow Road on the Seneca Nation Reservation.

They discovered the driver of the vehicle, Luanne M. Isaacs, 28, of Buffalo, was intoxicated and charged her with DWI. A breath test showed her blood alcohol content was .19 percent. She was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of North Collins court.

Then at about 1 a.m., deputies responded to a call about a disorderly person on Grand Island Boulevard on Grand Island. They found Margaret Vucetic, 43, of Grand Island trying to drive away, and she was charged with DWI. She refused to submit to a breath test and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in the Town of Grand Island court.

At about 4:30 a.m., a deputy responded to a report of a car striking a house on Bush Road on Grand Island. The deputy found the driver, Gregory D. Golde, 29, of Grand Island injured. He also appeared intoxicated, officials said. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment where he was arrested for DWI. He refused to submit to a blood test that would determine his blood alcohol level. He is slated to appear later in Grand Island town court.
