Unfortunately, when I went to their office to obtain the form which I got for N5,500, I was shocked to hear a processing fee of N150,000 after which the real fee for Certificate of Occupancy of about 120 / 30 pieces of land in our rural areas will cost about N500,000 and that all the financial requirements have to b provided within six months. Some of us that by chance of luck possess little land and earning small salary or retired from active service may never be able to put up a room/parlour of our own if the Lagos State government does not reduce this amount. The governor should help us spread the money for about five years payable on monthly basis after which the C/O will be issued to the applicant. Lagos State should consider this option so that poor people can benefit from the programme. Thanks.
